Experiences like this just bring joy! :D

We have to reach ngee ann poly before 8, so we all agreed to meet at the bus stop at 7.40. At first, jolene and i wanted to take bus because our fathers cannot fetch. so we wanted to take the 6.30 bus, so need wake up at 6. then my father can fetch but we will reach super early like maybe reach at 6.30 so my father was suggesting we eat our breakfast at macs but need wake up at 5.45. hehe, then jolene's father could fetch at a later timing, like at 6.40, hehe, so only need wake up at 6.15:D thanks!

Car is much faster than bus so jolene and i reach at 7.15, so played a bit of handphone game and talk. Then, justina, weishan & natalie reached at about 7.40 so we made our way to block 83, woah! then need climb upslope, climb and climb, so tiring. When we reached, we registered and our team number is 35, haha, then justina suggested changing the 35 to 25 then become 2/5:D took some photos of the car(compulsory) and took some photos tgt. The organisation very efficient and not bad la:D they even let us rest in 2 lecture theatres( have air-con) because the weather was super super hot. There was a short briefing but before the briefing which was suppose to start at 8.45, we were just crapping around and the organisers showed us some videos on youtube which is super funny. laugh until stomachache. HAHAHA:D

Yep, so there were 53 teams participating and the sequence is, only 16 teams will qualify, then 8, then 4, 2, and finally, the champion lo:D yea, so the teams will run the car according to the team number, so we were 35, so no need so early go, then we went to somewhere to practice. We were suppose to run 12m, actually, more than 12m is better, less than 10m more or less won't get in, so we fixed our baking soda, like 1 spn everytime, but we vary our ml of vinegar. The results our quite erratic so we don't really have a fixed proportion just do a rough guess:D Then, very soon at about 9.55 like that, we heard that it's already team 29, so we made our way there and wait a while.

Oh, and justina and natalie will prepare the baking soda and vinegar in the correct proprotion before passing to jolene and i. Wei shan will be standing at the end point to gauge when we roughly reach. So with the vinegar inside the bottle, jolene will count to 3 out loud, then we will pour the spoon of baking soda in. then, inside the bottle, the reaction will be quite fast, like sometimes it's straightaway, so i have to cap the bottle cap quickly, cannot let too much gas come out, or else, later no more reaction. Then shake 3 times to make the reaction faster, and let it go:D Then sometimes, because of the erratic-ness, the reaction will be quite big, and some of the vinegar and baking soda will escape out even if the bottle is tightly capped, so some will splatter on my face, legs, and hands. Then, sometimes the thing still sizzling on my face. hehe, once it went right into my nose, haha. They were saying after the competition, bring me go do facial. and i told jolene,"woah! if it's hydrochloric acid or sulphuric acid, i already disfigured le!"

Oh right, then so our car moved till 14.9m, like 2.9m more than the given distance, then still left a few more teams and some break time, so we wanted to buy bubble tea, but the canteen was closed. And on the way, jeslyn was telling us a joke.
"What's the difference between nose dirt and bowling ball?"
"don't know leh"
Ans: "Bowling ball is throw first, then it will roll, nose dirt is roll first then throw." Super lame and disgusting but still quite funny. Lame people tell lame jokes:D
Then, we went to this canteen which was fully air-conditioned called 'makan place', sell like food court, even better than food court and the stuff are not as expensive as food court. Jolene and jeslyn bought roti prata, wei shan bought some desert which cost 90 cents!? and the serving size is same as food court. the rest of us bought drinks. we talk for a while, then we went back. We checked how many nanyang teams qualify, because there were 5 nanyang teams, 3 qualified:D YAY! so we got into top 16, then jolene and wei shan have to draw lots to see who we competing against, so we compete against unity sec sch, and the distance is 15m, so we went to the same place to practice again. All rough guess. As usual, the weather like siao, we were all super sweaty and i got splashed with vinegar. at first, i still went to the toilet to clean up a bit, but after that, suan4 le4. or else i will be making super lots of trip to the toilet.

After a while, they call us , then we went, unity sec sch started first, and i think they were quite far away from the 15m mark, so jolene put the baking soda inside, and i shook the bottle, then the direction a bit off, but luckily, ours went further. YAY! so tyco, and we got into top 8:D And shi hui's team also made it into top 8, theirs was even more scary than ours, it's like theirs and monfort team only few cm apart, so when they got in, we jump and scream like siao! HAHA, then next school, we compete against presbyterian high school and the distance was 17m. and again, we rushed to prepare a bit:D haha. but very soon, we have to go back again. This time, we went first, so ours was about 2m++ from the 17m mark, then when presbyterian high school went, my heart was thumping like shenjingbing. then they went further than 17m but the rule is whoever is closest to the 17m mark, so the organisers went to measure the distance and when they point to our car/school, we jumped again! HAHA. We were extremely crazy and happy, because top 4, our SIA confirm 80%, not only about SIA, we indeed came a long way from internal judging, to the many practices, to today. All the frenzy, satisfaction set in.

We were more than determined to get top 2 already, we were going to compete against Shu qun secondary and it was 11m this time. If we get into top 2, is 100% leh!So we went to practice. Then shu qun sec sch went first, we were really lucky leh. Theirs they shake, then i think all the gas come up, so theirs didn't move at all. So when jolene was preparing to put the baking soda, we was telling me,'ok, move can already' So shake a few times, adjust the bottle, then it moved right to 19.6m. So is totally siao de, the results are this erratic. Then, we all cheered. we hi-fived each other. the other nanyang teams were screaming too:D We got into top 2 and the last finals to run 13m, to determine the final champion. Rushed to prepare for a while, and then this time we were competing macpherson, they had this really cute tortoise in the shape of the car. A lot of people had tortoises and the tortoises zoom off like faster than cheetah, so this is like irony of life? heh. Oh, then they were only about 1m away from the 13m mark. So jolene and i were quite scared and we went like 1.5m away from the 13m mark. So macpherson got 1st! congrats and we got 2nd.

After this, everyone went to the lecture theatre for prize presentation. The first one is for report submission, only 1 school submitted, so they got it by default. HAHA. the next was best design, i think is some fire engine care got it. Then, it was the main part, the car competition, so 3rd prize was montfort, they sent in 4 teams, i think. Then, jolene went up to collect the 2nd prize:D and 1st prize to macpherson. they gave away $20 ice-cream vouchers to those who guessed the winning car. obviously all from macpherson:D

Then, everything ended, so photos here and there, and jolene, jeslyn, and i went back to nanyang to see open house:D i like open house though i didn't come last year, hah, i was on wheelchair with that bright orange cast:D we put down our stuff in classroom then went to roam around, hehe, i saw my father then go scare him. HAHA!
Went to see netball, actually, i think i saw everything. oh, and i saw michelle taking photos so i borrowed the camera, the super big one and pretend to act pro:D I like crowds and noises. very nice feeling! oh, and i saw some chongfu people and i don't know them but just being lame so i was like ," you're from chongfu right?" she didn't answer me, just give me some puzzled look maybe thinking i'm some mad person, then i went, "i used to be from chongfu" then runaway. HAH!

After the open house, took bus with jolene and amanda to northpoint to eat lunch:D jolene didn't really have appetite. first time leh. we ate kfc:D then amanda and jolene went to library, i walked home. I slept for awhile, quite tired, then went for private training. My parents & maid went to jog for quite long. So after training, i still have to wait for them. So i just read my sms-es because i don't delete them and i was laughing to myself. HAHA. some very funny:D

i don't know whether this is the longest post? but i'm super happy and high.
