Date : Wednesday, January 5, 2011 Time : 1/05/2011 12:44:00 PM i'm feeling very apprenhensive and dreading jc a lot:/
maybe it's because i know that there's going to be an enormous change, from a very well-protected environment into a completely new environment. on the other hand, maybe i'm afraid of my friends around me changing. it's scary to watch people change into someone you might not recognise anymore:( i'm afraid i will change. i hate changes but i guess they're inevitable. i hope what i'm afraid of will not come true:/ talking about that, i realised i haven't done a proper graduation post.. the first time i saw nanyang was when i was primary 2 and i was attending my sister's kindergarten concert. to me, nanyang was really really big then. somehow, i told my mum i wanted to go to that school. but i didn't exactly work towards that goal because to me, it's not that possible. hmm... so i was posted to dunman high and i appealed to nanyang. life would have been so different if i was not accepted. as much as there are the bad experiences, it's always the good memories that i'll remember. I'm thankful for everything, especially the various groups of people i meet during my time in nanyang. Friends, Teachers, Teammates, people who have played an important role in my growing up. in sec 1, i was pretty crazy, running around everywhere, running down to canteen to buy food, running to popular to buy snacks with jolene, jun qi and celeste. I hardly have memories of sec 1 other than maybe lifeskills camp and choral & drama night. in sec 2, i probably grew up more(: i start remembering a lot of things in sec 2, the times spent with 205, our lifeskills camp where it was super fun, and how i was an idiot, and choral & drama night with all the shyness, and the last day of school where many people cried): still, it was a blast! in sec 3, class changed, and it was the year where more exciting things happened too, there were more opportunities, how chem e car was so nerve wrecking yet it created such a wonderful memory for me, and OBS, and taiwan gcp and how 2009 gave me the most extreme feelings! in sec 4, perhaps it's learning that we only have 1 more year in nanyang, i started to cherish everything more, but time kind of past really fast before i could lock the memories, vietnam gcp where it gave me new perspective and insights! 205: to me, it has always been a special class. Wide range of personalities and character, i remember the clashes we always had, how normal discussions can become rather heated discussions, getting into arguments with other classes in sec 1 because of talent-time and also in sec 2 because we "stole" other class's egg during lifeskills camp! LOL! but it's this kind of funny incidents that i'll always remember(: and choral & drama night, haha! 406: maybe i just couldn't have that warm connection with this class, but there are a lot of nice people in this class, really. The times with Mr Chan making our class laugh, getting angry:O there was a time where i felt we were so bonded, during youth day funfair where everyone tried to help as best as they could, but thanks all the same, 4/6! teammates: we all know we only bonded a lot more this year! mun, amanda, jolyn, justina, tricia, crystal, huey teng, danielle. Thanks for all the laughter! sometimes, lessons/school in the day can be so crappy but you all make me feel that it's not that bad afterall! teasing each other, talking to each other, it's just really heartwarming(: teachers: i think nanyang has the best teachers ever! thanks to all the teachers who've made an impact! who bothers to care about everyone student, to try and cast aside their stereotypes and wholeheartedly help us! thank you so much! friends: haha! i don't exactly know how i know some of you but i guess that's not important(: some basketballers and how mun and i play basketball with you all sometimes(: glenda, i was really surprised that you gave me a letter on the last day of school, and how we have the world's record sms and that we probably share quite a lot of things in common:D sheryl, huimin, pingzheng, with the kite-flying in school! haha! and at marina barrage!:D i know i keep saying thankyou! but i still have to say it! thank you nanyang, for providing me with the comfortable environment, for giving me the chance to meet so many people i'll never ever forget, and helping me to grow up! |
